This episode dives into the minor prophet Jonah. After a brief recap of the story, Lisa breaks down three ways we can see God moving after people in this tiny book.

This week's book recommendation is How to Preach and Teach the Old Testament for All Its Worth by Christopher Wright.

In spite of how inflammatory the title might sound, this week's episode encourages us to use the language of the Bible whenever possible. Lisa lists five reasons that she no longer uses the word "headship" and is instead careful to use the phrasing of the Scripture.

Lisa also introduces a new show segment where she will recommend a book that has helped disciple her. She starts out with A Long Obedience in the Same Direction by Eugene Peterson.

In this episode, Lisa is actually talking about more than just modesty and lust. This is a conversation about how we should describe people's behavior in context of their own relationships with God and not in the context of the opposite gender.
